Pursuant to sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act: All applicants and employees of the (NLHI) and its affiliated companies must copy with the aforementioned act as cited herein. In the event an applicant fails to comply with this requirement, (NLHI) will be forced to remove the applicant from the hire process.

- Corporate Integrity Agreements:
A Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) is a document that outlines the obligations a provider or entity agrees to as part of a civil settlement. CIAs have common elements, but each one is tailored to address the specific facts of the case and is often drafted to recognize the elements of a pre-existing compliance program.
- Exclusions:
The Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) provides information to the health care industry, patients and the public regarding individuals and entities currently excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and all other Federal health care programs.
OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) provides information to the health care industry, patients and the public regarding individuals and entities currently excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid and all other Federal health care programs. Individuals and entities who have been reinstated are removed from the LEIE.
The OIG imposes exclusions under the authority of sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act. A list of all exclusions and their statutory authority can be found on the Exclusion Authorities
The OIG has the authority to exclude individuals and entities from Federally-funded health care programs pursuant to sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act and maintains a list of all currently excluded individuals and entities called the List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE). Anyone who hires an individual or entity on the LEIE may be subject to civil monetary penalties (CMP).
